A handsome antique double door pier cabinet, beautifully proportioned and rich in colour.  Crafted in polished mahogany with a warm, mellow patina, the cabinet features two glazed doors opening to reveal a fabric-lined shelved interior, ideal for displaying books, glassware, ceramics or your favourite treasures.  The exterior is subtly enhanced with decorative gilt mounts to the corners and door edges, adding an elegant classical touch without overwhelming the piece.  It stands on a shaped plinth base, giving it a grounded architectural presence typical of pier cabinets designed to sit between windows or architectural features.
