Refund policy

Antique and vintage items by definition come with wear and tear commensurate with their age, but clients can have a varied interpretation and tolerance for “character” so we will always point out in advance If there are any significant marks scratches or damage over and above normal wear and tear and will send images and video as requested.

Good communication and managing expectations means that returns to our business are very rare so we operate a no quibble policy if for some reason a customer is dissatisfied with the condition of an item or if it was damaged in transit. The professional couriers we use ensure that this almost never happens but when an item is damaged, we will arrange to replace, repair or uplift and refund, including any cost to uplift at our expense.

Returns for all other reasons may be liable to a return fee up to but not exceeding the original delivery fee depending on the circumstances.

For example, furniture returns due incorrect measurements or failure to assess access for delivery, or if an item is deemed unsuitable upon delivery this will, worst case scenario, normally attract a return fee equivalent to the original delivery charge, providing the item is returned in the same condition it was received.
