This is a handsome early Victorian chest of drawers in fichly figured flame mahogany.  This piece features a traditional two-over-three drawer configuration with beautifully carved original brass handles.  The mahogany has developed a warm, glowing patina over time and the grain pattern is particularly striking throughout the drawer fronts.  

The drawers run smoothly, the piece is solid and well made and it stands on turned feet typical of the mid-19th century.  A classic, functional and elegant addition to any home.
