Stunning Victorian ash compactum wardrobe. A fine, handsome piece by makers Maple & Co. with a bevelled mirrored door. This opens onto a large storage space with a hanging bar and brass hooks. To the upper right of this, a panel door which opens onto a cupboard with a pull out shelf. Beneath this are four deep storage drawers. This sits on a plinth base. Its original brass hardware throughout is decorative and beautiful, adding an extra touch of style to the overall piece. Exuding charm and great character, it is also practical for the purpose of transport and installing, as it comes in four pieces. The cornice and plinth are separate and the centre is in two pieces. A most striking addition to a bedroom or landing.
