A beautiful Scottish flame mahogany Victorian chest of drawers with a bold architectural form and particularly attractive figuring to the timber.

The chest is framed by a striking pair of barley-twist columns, rising from the plinth to turned capitals beneath the projecting top. The upper section incorporates an arrangement of smaller drawers surrounding a central panelled drawer. Below are three generous full-width drawers, The drawers retain traditional turned wooden knob handles and individual key escutcheons, all resting on a substantial plinth base with discreet feet.
