A charming early 19th century drop-leaf coffee or side-table from the Regency period. Made in richly figured mahogany, the rectangular top has two drop leaves, allowing it to sit neatly against a wall or extend for additional surface space. The timber has a warm tone and pleasing aged patina. The drawer retains its brass ring handles and offers useful storage. It stands on elegant sabre legs joined by a stretcher and finished with brass cup castors for easy movement. An lovely piece as a tea or coffee table, ideal as a lamp table, occasional table or side table.
