A wonderfully elegant pair of Brass floor or standard lamps from the late Victorian / Edwardian era with a keen Arts and Crafts sensibility. With handsome, slender columns and tripod bases, they offer a pleasing balance and proportion. Each lamp is topped with a softly flared, scalloped ivory fabric shade with a balloon interior which casts a warm, ambient glow when lit.
The brass shows a gently, aged patina consistent with their years, adding character without detracting from their refined appearance. A classic and versatile pair, well suited to traditional or eclectic interiors and increasingly difficult to find in matching condition.
Each lamp has been fitted with up to date electrical workings and complies with the latest electrical safety regulations and codes for Ireland. Both come with long antique-style fabric braided wiring complete with floor switch.
