This beautiful mid 19th century mahogany cabinet has so many uses...not only because of its small size which can fit in any room, it also offers fantastic storage space. Comprised of two panelled doors with shelving inside as well as a top drawer which is the width of the piece, it would work in a bedroom, a hallway or as a sideboard in a dining room or indeed as part of a kitchen space.  These versatile cabinets are sometimes called Drawing Room Cabinets or Chiffioner too.  It is rare to find something this size which is so versatile and elegant with its simple lines and discrete bun feet.  A piece like this will compliment any period setting and look superb within a modern homescape too.
