A fabulous mahogany glazed bookcase circa early 20th century with subtle influences of the Arts and Crafts Movement. Retaining the original maker’s label for “Allen & Appleyard, Artistic Furnishers, Renshaw Street & Bold Street, Liverpool" makes this even more special. 

The pair of glazed doors are divided by slender wooden glazing bars, with attractive shaped detailing to the upper corners. Internally, the cabinet has a panelled back and adjustable wooden shelves, providing generous display or storage space. A stunning piece to use as a bookcase but we love these as display cabinets be it for towels in a bathroom or glassware in a living room!
