A refined Louis XVI-style side table, with elegant neoclassical proportions and attractive brass detailing. The table is raised on four slender turned and tapering legs, joined by a useful shaped lower tier and terminating in small brass feet. The rectangular top is inset with a pale stone surface, framed by a decorative pierced brass gallery with shaped openings to the front. Beneath is a single frieze drawer, fitted with a decorative brass rosette backplate and circular pull. An elegant and highly decorative occasional table, ideal beside a sofa or armchair, as a lamp table, or as a small hall or bedside table.
