A beautifully detailed Middle Eastern folding tray table featuring a large hand-engraved copper tray set on an intricately inlaid wooden base. The tray is richly decorated with a lively battle scene of mounted warriors carrying shields and spears, framed by a scalloped rim and fine engraved borders.

At the top of the design is an engraved Arabic inscription that translates to “Welcome to our home,” a traditional phrase reflecting the hospitality associated with such serving trays. The folding hardwood base is finely decorated with geometric marquetry panels and turned spindles, typical of Syrian craftsmanship. The tray lifts off and can be hung on a wall and the stand folds flat for easy storage.
