A solid late 18th century oak chest of drawers with four graduated drawers, original brass swan-neck handles and decorative escutcheons.  The piece stands on traditional bracket feet and has a beautifully warm patina, developed over more than two centuries of use.  The proportions are elegant yet practical and the craftsmanship is solid and honest, characteristic of Georgian country furniture.  A versatile and timeless chest of drawers adding charm and function to any interior.
