A handsome Edwardian open bookcase in richly toned mahogany, dating from the early 20th century. The piece features a stepped cornice with delicate satinwood inlaid decoration to the frieze, adding an elegant flourish without overwhelming its clean architectural lines. The fluted front uprights are capped with carved grape and vine motifs, a charming decorative touch that nods to late Victorian influence while maintaining the lighter proportions typical of the Edwardian period. Raised on original castors for ease of movement.

The interior offers three adjustable shelves (four tiers in total), providing practical and versatile storage for books, decorative objects or display pieces. The warm patina and depth of colour give it real presence.
