Striking Arts and Crafts mahogany hall stand c1900. A multi-functioning entryway piece, combining storage for coats, hats, scarves and umbrellas in a vertical unit. Crafted from mahogany with satinwood inlays, it features a central oval bevelled mirror with several coat hooks on the upper section and a small lidded glove/key compartment on the lower section. This includes an umbrella/stick stand containing two removable metal drip trays at the base, for those rainy days. An elegant piece characteristic of the Arts and Crafts movement with flared square tops on the stiles and clean, functional lines.
