An elegant French walnut armoire dating to the early 1900s, displaying beautifully figured walnut with rich, warm tones and striking natural grain throughout. The two large panelled doors are framed by finely moulded edges, with decorative fluted uprights and a substantial projecting cornice.
The doors feature delicate brass escutcheons, opening to reveal a spacious interior with a hanging rail and hooks. Beneath are two generously sized drawers with decorative brass handles, providing additional storage. Raised on turned feet, the armoire has a lovely sense of proportion and understated French elegance.
A wonderfully versatile piece, equally suited to a bedroom, dressing room or hallway, offering generous storage while bringing warmth and character to an interior.
