Fabulous walnut and oak bureau circa 1920's - 1930's crafted in Georgian style. Beautifully proportioned and raised on elegant cabriole legs terminating in carved claw and ball feet. The fall-front writing slope is veneered in richly figured burr walnut and opens to reveal a fitted interior of pigeonholes and small drawers.

The shaped front is fitted with two graduated drawers retaining decorative brass swan-neck handles and escutcheons, while the finely carved shell knees and graceful cabriole legs reflect the enduring influence of 18th century design. We love these in bedrooms and living rooms to add elegant beauty and style.
