A beautiful1920s/30s oak glazed display cabinet or bookcase, with a strong Arts & Crafts influence and a practical country-house character. The tall upper section features a pair of leaded-glass doors divided into slender rectangular panes, opening to provide generous display or book storage.

Below is a substantial two-door cupboard with raised and fielded panels, offering useful concealed storage. The cabinet is finished with a broad moulded cornice, simple architectural detailing and shaped feet. Exposed brass hinges and small wooden knobs add to its period charm. 

A characterful and versatile piece that would work particularly well as a bookcase, drinks cabinet, kitchen dresser or display cupboard.
