A substantial and beautifully proportioned Arts & Crafts mahogany wardrobe circa 1910's. This wardrobe has a wonderfully architectural appearance, crowned by a distinctive swept cornice with projecting block dentil detail, characteristic of the Arts & Crafts movement. The façade is arranged with a large panelled cupboard door to the left, a central full-length mirrored door with an arched top, and a further cupboard above a bank of three drawers to the right. The interior offers generous hanging space, fitted with brass hanging rails and hooks, alongside a particularly useful arrangement of internal storage. The right-hand section incorporates additional hanging space above three drawers, while a broad drawer and further smaller drawer run across the lower section. Magnificent for bedroom or landing space.
