Hope you guys are enjoying the Summer, it's great to get some down time and enjoy the school holidays.
We as always are busy-busy here at the Gaiety, just getting ready to head off on a buying trip. The boys leave on Sunday; I fly out Monday night and my son asked 'why do I get to fly and they have to slum it on the boat and do 100's of miles?'. I just said that's the joys of being the boss!!! No, I'm actually working on an interior design project at the moment and need to be about! (That's my excuse!)
Ok, so this blogpost is all about our services and what we can do to help you with your interior needs. We have 5 services we can offer to help revamp your home. 1. Interior Design

2. Re-upholstery Service
We can re-upholster chairs and stools and we have an amazing collection of fabrics from our many yeas on the lookout.Drop in and have a browse and a chat and see if we can create a new look for you. Or alternatively phone us on09856799 and we would be happy to advise.
3. Handmade Benches and Cushions
Nola is an amazing seamstress and can turn out any cushion made to measure. We can tailor something to suit your home, all we need are a few dimensions and your choice of fabric.
We also have a range of handmade Monks Benches that can be ordered in any size. You also have the option of purchasing a handmade cushion to match - oh and did I mention we can arrange to paint it any colour?!

4. French Polishing
This is quite simply treating wood with a french polish and it is one of the oldest techniques used to finish expensive wood.
If you have a piece at home that perhaps has been suffering wear and tear, it may benefit from a trip to Herbie's workshop.

5. Chalk Painting Service
Sometimes you just need to re-imagine what you already have in your home, and give it a new look. If you haven't the confidence to tackle the project yourself, maybe we can help.
