This handsome 1930s golden oak bookcase is a superb example of early 20th century craftsmanship, combining clean lines with subtle decorative detail.  The upper section features twin glazed doors with individually paned glass, perfect for displaying books, ceramics or collectibles as well as your literature or chic lit collection! Inside, the shelves are adjustable, offering flexibility for storage and display. 

The lower cupboard provides hidden storage behind two solid oak panelled doors, each with bold geometric moulding characteristic of the period.  The bookcase is topped with a delicately carved dentil cornice, adding a refined architectural touch.

Beautifully figured oak, with a rich, warm patina, this piece is both practical and stylish, ideal for adding character to a study, sitting room or hallway.
